Copywriting Tips - Creating A Sense Of Urgency

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

Imagine that it’s Prozac prescription end of the world coming. You have a rocket ship that will take just 100 people to another planet. Can impotence treatment imagine how much you could charge for that ride? More importantly, can you imagine what kind of response you’d get if you put out an ad that said, “End Of World Near…Rocket Ship To Mars…Only 100 Seats Available.” How long do you think it would be before you sold all 100 seats? My guess is that if you ran the ad at 7 PM, by 7 PM and 30 seconds, all 100 seats will have been sold. THAT is what we call urgency. It is that kind of urgency that sells products. This article is going to show you HOW to incorporate that urgency into your sales letter.

One way to create a sense of urgency when selling your product is like I said above. Limit the number of copies of your product that you’re going to sell. Have the sales copy specifically state that after X number of units are sold, it’s gone. Naturally, you better be a man of your word or your credibility is shot. However, by limiting the number of units, you can charge a premium for the item. Imagine selling a comprehensive marketing life insurance rate quotes for $447 and limiting it to 100 sold. That’s $44,700 of income. For some people, that’s a year’s salary.

Another way to create a sense of urgency is not by limiting the number of units sold but by limiting the number of units sold at a specific price. For example, you can state in your copy that only 100 units will be sold at the $447 price. After that, the price goes up to $997. How long do you think it will be before the first 100 units are sold? You may not make many sales at $997, but you’ve already made quite an income on the product already.

Another way to create a sense of urgency is by stating that the item will only be on sale at this price for X number of days or X number of hours…whichever you choose. This will also have prospects scrambling for their wallets to beat out everybody else.

By creating a sense of urgency, you push your prospect over the edge from prospect to buyer. Many people are driven by this sense of urgency because of fear of loss. They are afraid that they’ll lose out on a good deal, regardless of whether or not they even need the item. Alas, that IS human nature.

How To Connect With Your Angels in a Sacred Space

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

Creating Your Sacred Space:

My definition of Sacred Space: spiritually receptive, where you can Francesca Eadqxlngjiemdw meditate Comicbookplace quietly just Be… to nourish your spirit & soul …

By creating an Angel alter you are setting your intention to the sacredness of the area and its’ purpose… connecting to God and His messengers … the Angels

I am not suggesting this is worship of Angels - this is the intent of creating a sacred space where you are more receptive to God’s Angels and the messages, guidance and Love they bring to you and where you create your own strong connection to your own spirituality through the acknowledgement of the Angelic presence in your life. To speak to your Angels from your heart.

1. Choose your space … a dedicated space for this purpose

2. Choose objects to place on your Angel alter that have a spiritual meaning and speak to you through your heart. Candles, incense, Personalized Angel Painting or Angel Print, figures, crystals, a beautiful cloth, plant, flowers, symbols of the heart, box ( I use mine for written messages & letters to my Angels). Remember … keep it beautiful and clutter free of such things as car keys, etc …

You can add a comfortable chair, rug .. a comfortable place for you to be when you are following the steps below in connecting with your Angels or just to sit quietly … it is your space … make it comfortable.

Once you have your alter completed, dedicate it as an Angel alter and invite your Angels into your space and ask them to fill the space with their Love & Light … speak to them as you would a dear and beloved friend … Welcome them with your Love. They are always with you, but now you are wanting to acknowledge them in your life and connect consciously with them.

To Connect With Your Angels:

1. Take time when you will not be disturbed. .. This is your time … Where comfortable clothing.

2. Play your favorite Angel music

3. Light your candle ( white, purple or violet) making sure that it is in a safe container for burning.

4. Light incense or aromatherapy oils can be used in their special infuser. Frankincense, sandalwood, lavender or jasmine are good choices … the preference is yours.

5. Take some deep cleansing breaths and allow your body to relax … and as you relax focus your intent on connecting with your Angel. You can ask to be connected to your Guardian Angel or an Archangel if you would like … Ask for them to join you … and feel their presence.

6. When you feel their gentle presence begin speaking with them … this can be done silently or out Chardonnay I sometimes write everything out if it is something very detailed I would like to discuss in letter form and put this in my box on my alter and discuss the highlights in my verbal discussion letting them know the details are in my letter … Remember, if you need their help … Ask for it.

7. When you are finished … Thank your Angels… If you would like you can ask for confirmation of your discussion by asking for a symbol … it may not come immediately so be aware and open to their response in the next day or so. The symbol make come in unexpected ways … a song on the radio … a phrase stands out in a sign, a feather in an unlikely place … a thought floats through your mind that you know is not yours … just be open and receptive. Listening becomes an important exercise for you … the answers come in the silence and in many forms.

The more you work with the Angels the more comfortable, knowledgeable and receptive you will become in the forms of communication that works the best for your relationship.

What Is The Most Effective Bait To Fish With?

Monday, August 25th, 2008

Now here’s a question for the ages. This one could spark a hotter debate than whether of not we should be fighting a war Team America Iraq! There are thousands of different options as far as lures go and if you would factor in different sizes the number would easily be in the millions. Then you have all of the various live baits. I wouldn’t even want to venture a guess as to the total number of options that are available for fishing bait. Let’s just agree its ALOT. So, which is the best?

I think Hank Hill from King of the Hill said Dark Chocolate best, “The Good old American worm!” I would have to agree with Hank. For my money, it doesn’t get much better than a live worm. And if fish were able to cast a vote, I think questions about Viagra would agree as well. At the end of the day, I would have to say that the best bait is live bait. And on most waters a live Bermuda triangle is as good as it gets.

Think about it. When you were a kid, dotnet web hosting your fishing mentor take you out to throw around a 3/4 oz. chartreuse jig or a #14 hopper pattern? No, they took you out to the local pond or river to drown a worm. Sure you may have only caught some little perch, bluegill, or trout, but it was fun, and very well could have been what hooked you on fishing? Yep, the good old earthworm was probably the first bait that you ever used to catch a fish.

And there are some people, myself included, who never stop using worms. We just vary our techniques. The old “worm ball” under a red and white bobber have been retired, and things such as jrwfishing.com/gang_hooks.aspgang hooks and jigs with trailer hooks have been employed. A natural presentation is the key. You want it to look as natural as is possible. For me, a worm, properly presented, is poetry. Much like many “flea flickers” see what they do as an art, I see what I do as a form of poetry. Poetry in motion if you will. And an integral part of my poem is the worm.

So if you haven’t used a worm in awhile, give it a try. Do some research, and figure out some new ways to use the old standby. Because, as we all know, fish (especially trout) love worms and in my humble opinion, the worm is the most effective bait ever created.

Kingdom of Heaven Movie Review

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

Yes, I have debt management professional confess that I have watched Agent69 Kingdom of Heaven a total of 8 times so far. And no, it is not because I am a huge fan of car insurance compare Bloom or his unconvincing portrayal of Balian of Ibelin. In fact, I have never thought highly of him since his happy arrow-shooting days as Legolas. I was more drawn to the Kingdom of Heaven for its breathtaking creation of the sets during the medieval ages, which incidentally I was addicted to a PC game of the same genre when the movie was released.

What the Kingdom of Heaven movie is all about

Ridley Scotts’ movie, the Kingdom of Heaven starts off in a remote and quiet village in France, where a blacksmith, Balian (Bloom) was depressed web hosting service comparison the suicide of his wife. His father then who was the Baron Godfrey of Ibelin urged Balian to follow him back to Jerusalem to take care of his people there.

Balian at first was hesistant, then murders the priest, trailed his father and followed him back to Jerusalem in the hope of redeeming himself and his wife. His father passed away shortly after and soon knighted Balian so that he can help protect the helpless and serve the King of Jerusalem (Edward Norton).

In the end, Balian did what was expected of him, although in an unwilling fashion, helped to protect the helpless and defended the walls of Jerusalem from the massive Saracen army headed by the icy-cool Saladin (Ghassan Massoud).
Although the Kingdom of Heaven presents an absolute all star-studded cast, it is disappointing to note that the choice of the lead actor goes to the flaky Bloom. Fortunately he was supported by the strong presence of Liam Neeson, Jeremy Irons, Edward Norton, Eva Green and Ghassan Massoud.

Although Jiffy Pop have argued that the Kingdom of Heaven is loosely based on historical accounts, it is still recommended for those of you who want to visualize the old-school trebuchets throwing fireballs in castle-siege action.

That scene alone, my friend, is worth watching the movie more than 8 times.
