Towards the end of Million Dollar Baby the character Scraps, ex boxing great turned gym porter, says of a character who has been away from the gym for a while, “And then a ghost walked in.” This is an inadvertant commentary on almost all the principal characters in the film, and thier relationships to each other.

Scraps (Morgan Freeman) is a ghost for Frankie (Clint Eastwood), as is Maggie (Hillary Swank) - the former because he lost sight in one eye in a match, many years ago, partly due to Frankie, and the latter because as time goes on she becomes a surrogate for his long gone daughter who refuses to reconcile with him (we are not told exactly what went wrong between Frankie and his daughter, though we see that he has a shoebox full of letters he sent her marked RETURN TO SENDER).

Frankie goes to Mass every day; the priest tells him, “Write to your daughter.” Scraps and Maggie bond because both have been trained by Frankie. Scraps and Maggie, without knowing it, become mirrors of each other, each having been gravely hurt in boxing matches with Frankie as their manager. home loan refinance rate at the same time, they mirror each other in another way - boxing is their whole life (Maggie tells Frankie at one point, “If I don’t have this, I have nothing”; Scraps literally lives in the gym, in a small space in a corner with a curtain.

He never leaves the place (Frankie invites him to come to Vegas for a fight and he says, “Do you know what this place would look like if I left it?”) Everyone whom Frankie seems to care about in his life has been gravely hurt by him - his daughter, Maggie, and Scraps. The gym is a place of vicousness and street consciousness - a bully beats an annoying punk to a bloody pulp, only to be knocked out cold in turn by Scraps. Frankie and Maggie are both on horrible terms with their immediate families, and Scraps has no family in sight;it is such a nonissue for him that none is ever even mentioned.

In this world, in these lives, the characters share much that is bleak and dismal, yet the end effect of the film on the viewer is one of hope, respect, and dignity nonetheless. Any time one character turns to another, their souls, their cores, relate - and in this way these relationships reveal to us some of the essential truths about humanity.

It’s hard accident compensation claim have enough money.

Is it? After all, Most people feel like they never have enough money. Gas prices climb, children need braces, the car breaks down, the roof needs fixing. The money coming in never seems to cover the money going out. It feels hard, even impossible sometimes, to do the things we have been told it takes, to always have enough money: working extra jobs, economizing, keeping good records, investing wisely, etc.

But I think that the belief that it’s hard to have enough money is a money myth.

From what I’ve seen, some of the people with the least amount of money can be the wealthiest, while some with all the money they could ever want are the poorest. The biggest difference I notice between the wealthy poor and the poor wealthy is that the wealthy poor are grateful for what they have and the poor wealthy resent not having what they want and sometimes even resent what they have. In fact, some of the poor wealthy can’t enjoy their wealth because they live in fear of losing what they have.

I propose that there’s a real difference between what we want and what we need, and that we should approach each differently. Needs have to do with survival. If we don’t have what we need, air, for instance, we die. Not having what we want may elicit depression, despair or some other strong emotional response, but we will survive whether or not we get what we want. Does that mean we shouldn’t want things? No, of course we should want things. We should all be trying to make tomorrow better than today. But when our mind mutates a want into a need, when “I want that thing” becomes “I need that thing,” we go into a do or die survival mode and become so busy pursuing our perceived need that we begin to focus on lack and wind up missing the opportunities for joy, gratitude and real wealth that every day’s abundance brings into our lives.

Remember: needs can be fulfilled without money. Performers sing for their supper. Work and services can be exchanged or traded for housing, clothing and other items. And, because everybody recognizes that we have needs that we have in common, sometimes people will provide what we need, without expecting anything in return. The less “needy” you feel, the more this is likely to happen.

So having all the money you need can actually be easy, once our perceptions are attuned to our reality. Just 1) identify and separate your wants and needs, 2) commit to fulfilling true survival needs as inexpensively as possible, 3) choose from among the things you want. Decide what you REALLY want, or pick what will improve your life the most, and go for that, 4) be aware of, appreciative and grateful for all that you are being given, 5) and when you get it, ask for more, in faith believing. 6) Recognize, accept, count and allow the blessings that come to you each day and share them with others.

Change your myth to a maxim, “a succinct formulation of a fundamental principle, general truth, or rule of conduct.” (Thanks, answer.com). Supplanting negative myths with positive maxims is an effective way to handle old habits of thought

Maxim: I already have all the money I need, and the resources to get more.

Replace your money myths with maxims and watch each one bring you closer to your million dollar desire.

Video marketing is powerful force insurance life traffic generation when used correctly. The sad thing is most aspiring internet marketers are really dropping the ball big time when it comes to video marketing.

Just look at YouTube asp web hosting search home based business and you’ll quickly see what we mean. Would you take of those people serious? Videos can be a painful double edged sword. The following 7 Step Video Marketing Formula will result in more effective use of videos for traffic generation, positioning and relationship building with your list or existing customers.

1. Content. If you’re in internet marketing looking to attract quality marketers for your affiliate program, MLM or direct sales program, you’d be best learning to produce training content. It’s easier to build a list with training content, it positions you as an authority in your topic and it builds credibility and relationships of professional respect without using hype or cheap sales pitches to attempt to “pitch” your deal.

2. Keyword Research - Use free or paid tools to discover keywords with significant traffic and low competition for easier ranking on the search engines and free traffic.

3. Use your main keyword phrase in your title. Use your name as well for branding on the search engines.

4. Start with your FULL URL in the description of your video. It’s clickable in YouTube and makes you completely accessible. Provide a compelling, keyword rich description of your content using your main keywords as much as possible and building curiosity in your viewers to attract more clicks to your site.

5. Use your main keywords again in your tags and include your name for branding on the search engines.

6. Post your video content also on TubeMogul (free) and on Traffic Geyser (paid) for more exposure. Turns your ONE video into an illusion of many with no further work on your part or cost.

7. Take your video content and submit to Pingomatic.com, and to DIGG.com and to Propeller.com for massive keyword based exposure and position to optimize traffic generation.

An additional bonus tip is to take your video content and make a blog post about it, posting your video along with your blog content and using the same keyword research approach. Submit your new blog content to the same viral traffic generation and social sites above.

Go further and produce a series of articles about the same content for an overal assault on the search engines and more free traffic.

Video marketing is a fun, simple and basically free way to generate traffic, build relationships and follow up and train in different scenarios. Using this formula will help keep you focused and efficient in your video marketing projects and will lead to more targeted traffic generation and branding.

Top tips on how to choose a foreign exchange specialist and how to determine the legitimate companies from the ‘cowboys’:

1. Select a company that has at least three years of audited mortgage calculator refinance and is financially strong. It is very important that the forex company you choose has a good track record.

2. Ask what professional bodies the company belongs to. The Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP) is the trade body set up to protect the interests of property buyers and sellers.

3. Find out more information about the company by doing a quick internet search on the company. Look out for whether they have won any awards or have been recommended by a reliable source.

4. Do not let a www.currenciesdirect.com/uk/foreign exchange company pressurise you into doing a deal. Their role is to understand your requirements and to provide you with the information you need, not to hard sell and certainly not to make you trade until you are 100% happy to Appleton mortgage refinance ahead.

5. Ask what charges apply. If you are unsure, ask them to confirm in writing. You can really save money by using a well established reputable money exchange company; not only through better currency rates but also as a result of lower transfer charges.

6. Be aware that at present commercial foreign exchange is not an FSA regulated industry because it is not considered ‘Investment Business’. Under the Money Laundering Regulations 2003, commercial foreign exchange companies are treated as “Money Service Businesses” which are covered by regulations administered by HM Customs & Excise.

CurrenciesDirect are Commercial Foreign Exchange and www.currenciesdirect.com/uk/Money Exchange Specialist Brokers & Online Forex (FX) Dealers.

Forex or foreign Exchange or FX involves the buying and selling of one currency against another currency. They are always traded in pairs e.g. EUR/USD, USD/JPY. So when you are buying Euro dollars (EUR) you are also selling the US dollars (USD) in exchange for the Euro dollars. If you want to buy US dollars then you would sell the Euro dollars in exchange for buying the US dollars.

An example that we would encounter frequently is when we travel overseas and need to exchange the local currency for the foreign destination currency and we would head to the local money changer or bank to buy the foreign currency. This is a good example that we are familiar with.

By buying and selling currencies at the money changer or bank we are already involved in this huge foreign exchange market. Banks and central banks, investment funds, hedge funds, exporters and importers, companies and retail forex traders are among the main participants in the forex market.

Banks trade to generate profits and also act as buyers and sellers of one currency against another for their clients trading and commercial transaction. While central banks buy and sell currencies to hold as reserves and protect the reserves. They also act to moderate their country’s currency strength to facilitate reasonable terms of trade in the international markets for their exports and imports.

Investment funds have a percentage of their portfolio in the forex market for many reasons like citibank student loan consolidation hedging, etc. While most hedge funds will speculate on currencies as it is the biggest market in the world thus able to accommodate their large trading size which is quite difficult to do in the equities or futures market.

BLU-RAY (aka BLURAY) HI-defintion players are not the same worldwide. In fact a BLU-RAY disc from one of the three REGIONS won’t usually play at all on players from the other two regions.

What are these regions and why are they? See below.

But is there such a thing as a MULTIREGION BLU-RAY player and if so will you need a special Multisystem TV?

Yes, MULTIREGION BLU-RAY players do exist today and no you don’t need a PAL-NTSC TV to display the BLURAY movies. Any working TV with HDMI input will work fine.

BLU-RAY REGIONs A and B and C and DVD REGIONs 1 and 2 will be available around March 1st 2008.

What are BLU-RAY “Regional Codes”? “Country Codes”? “Zones”? and will they affect you and me?

Hollywood producers want to control the home release of movies in different countries because theater releases are often on different dates in the world wide release of a movie.
A movie may come out on Blu-ray Disc in the U.S. when it’s just hitting screens in Europe so to prevent various regions of the world from buying the BLU-RAY movies before they have come out in cinemas, thereby reducing the box office sales of those films and certainly the eventual BLU-RAY dvd release as well of those films there are devices created to stop such TV viewing of new movies.

Besides being able to see movies before approved release dates many films come out in various edited versions. Some have scenes deleted or augmented in various versions but if you want the complete unedited version of your favorite film and it isn’t available in your country you might normally have no way of ever seeing it unless you traveled to a country having your version available. But just because you can see it in that country doesn’t mean you can take it home and view it on your player and on your TV. Quite the contrary. That’s where a multiregion BLU-RAY DVD player comes in.

To block you studio require that the Blu-ray standard include codes to prevent playback of certain discs in certain geographical regions. Each player is given a code for the region in which it’s sold. The player will refuse to play discs that are not coded for its region. This means that a disc bought in one country may not play on a player bought in another country and even if it could there is the matter of the VIDEO STANDARD to deal with. There are two standards in regular DVDs and two in BLU-RAY (Please rad below about male enhancement as actually in HDMI there are NO video standards) and they are NTSC and PAL. These alone make it impossible to view a disc of one standard on a TV that isn’t of that standard even if you have a MULTIREGION BLU-RAY DVD player. The TV must match (unless you have a BLU-RAY discs playing in a MULTIREGION PLAYER via HDMI output)!

These TVs do exit and come in all video standards, formats (tune type CRT-LCD-PLASMA etc.) sizes and voltages. Or you can buy a quality DIGITAL VIDEO STANDARDS converter such as a TENLAB and simply use any working TV on earth to view your movies.

But please note:
If you out a BLU-RAY movie via the HMDI cable to an HMDI TV of any standard (PAL, NTSC, SECAM etc.) you will see a perfect picture as BLU-RAY and HDMI have done away with the traditional Video Standards like PAL, NTSC etc.
If you have a BLU-RAY region C disc it will play on all BLU-RAY players worldwide as there is no REGION C lock on them.
So any BLU-RAY region free for regions A and B or any BLU-RAY player that is not multiregion will play all REGION C BLU-RAY discs on any TV with HDMI input.
Miracle, the age of having to deal with non-compatible video standards has ended. Only REGIONS A and B are still incompatible and with a MULTIREGION (AKA MULTI-REGION, MULTI REGION etc.) player one can view any and ALL Blu-Ray movies on any TV on earth with HDMI.

To be confusing however please note:
If your TV does not have an HDMI input then you will still be stuck needing a PAL-NTSC TV or a video standards converter to view BLU-RAY movies via the RCA or S-VIDEO video output.

3 regions (also called locales or zones) have been defined, and each one is assigned a number. Players and discs are often identified by their region number superimposed on a world globe. If a disc plays in more than one region it will have more than one number on the globe.

Region A: North America, Central America, South America, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia

Region B: Europe, Greenland, French territories, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand

Region C: Pakistan, India, Mainland China, Russia, Central and South Asia

Multi-region Blu-Ray Players now available! REGION FREE DVD players/recorders and High Definition, HD DVD players,Advanced Optical players/recorders in Blu-Ray DVD players/recorders. A multi region (aka codefree, allzone) DVD player or recorder is capable of playing DVD discs from anywhere in the world, that is all 8 regions and both PAL and NTSC standards. www.planetomni.comhttp://www.planetomni.com has many.

So you want to download PSP game iso’s. You obviously want to get your hands insurance estimates more games than you are willing to pay for. The Sony Play Station Portable (PSP) itself doesn’t come cheap; after all, it’s a sleek handheld game console, music and video player, and with some homebrew apps, turns into a PDA. The PSP games themselves cost a bundle each. So the solution is to download PSP game iso’s, for free, if you can, and enjoy the games. This article shows you how to find websites with PSP game iso downloads, websites that offer the best download experience. We will also cover the installation of the downloaded games.

Websites that offer PSP game iso downloads fall into two categories. The free and the nonfree. The nonfree is better, as you will see. The free websites you can tell with the tons of pop up and banners ads, the slow download speed, the limited selection of games, the spyware and adware that sneaks into your PC after the download completes in a day.

The paid for or commercial websites offer more than just PSP game iso downloads - wallpapers, music, video, instructional guides, and so on. The problem lies in the joining fee, monthly membership fee, and in some instances a per-download fee. The commercials sites however offer the reverse of mostly everything the free sites have - fast download, wide array of games, no spyware, and so on.

The trick is to find commercial sites that offer only a one-time joining fee, and afterwards allows you access to its database of PSP game iso’s, among other things. If you can find sites like that, you will have a headache free experience in choosing from a library of demo and full package games to download.

Before you download game, be sure you check if your PSP’s firmware allows you to run those games. Sometimes you might need to downgrade your PSP’s firmware to an older one, especially since you might be playing hacked games and game emulators (SNES, GameBoy, etc.). Corrupt files downloaded are often traceable to firmware’s incompatibility with the games. So read the instructions on downloads on the website well.

Be sure you will be downloading PSP game iso files. If you bought the full game, the instructions and installation will be simple and easy. If you chose the demo, and this is recommended, you can have access to a part of the game so you won’t have to uninstall a stupid game later on; instead, just download the whole game. After all, you paid for unlimited access, and not on a per-download basis.

That’s it. Have fun downloading and installing PSP game iso’s.

3 Ways Your Small Business Can Go Green With Video Conferencing - Starting Tomorrow (Part 1)

While planning your 2008 business goals and objectives, why not plan to go green and pocket more profits at the same time?

When it comes to the environment, being a good global citizen starts in your own business.
From recycling to using alternative cleaning products, minor changes can add up to real benefits for the planet. Not to mention your own health and happiness.

And every little bit helps.

1) Telecommuting: Video Conferencing can be used for telecommuters in your business. Employees will be able to work from a home office and still be able to meet face-to-face and collaborate in real time just like they would if they were in the office.

Did you know that Americans waste an average of 47 hours every week during rush hour traffic? That’s 23 billion gallons of gas wasted and thousands of pounds of carbon dioxide pollution.

Not only is the reduction in weekly travel time beneficial to the environment, but the added time to their day will improve worklife balance.

2) Board of Director and/or Sales Meetings:It’s challenging for businesses to arrange meetings around everyone’s schedule. By moving just one sales meeting or presentation online, you’ll save the environment 2,690 pounds of carbon dioxide pollution.

Two people traveling from Chicago to San Francisco save 4,696 pounds of carbon emissions. If every business canceled one business trip alone, carbon dioxide pollution would be hugely decreased!

3) Access to Remote Clients or Customers: Business employees often drive across town or travel across the globe to meet with clients to go over important documents or to give powerpoint presentations.

Video conferencing can eliminate that business trip and allow you to meet face-to-face to mark up architectural CAD files or present that new marketing campaign in real time just like would in person.

And you won’t have to fight long lines, delays, and tight security at the airport.

Your business can make a huge impact on lowering carbon dioxide pollution in the atmosphere by staying off the road and audio conference call of the skies.

These are just three ways your company can use video conferencing to go green - starting tomorrow. To get your company ahead of the curve, consider implementing a video conferencing solution now to do your part in saving the environment.

Every business changes to meet the expectations of their customers and to respond to current and expected changes in things like the economy, fashion, personal taste, generational dictates and more.

For instance if your local Sears store hadn’t changed over the years it would still be called Sears and Roebuck and would sell primarily from catalogs.

It is subtle, yet significant changes that chart the path for business productivity in a new era. Every business must respond to the need for business reinvention.

This is why retailers respond to seasonal alterations in product offerings. This is why you will find clearance racks containing merchandise they will no longer be selling. They make this move in response to the pressure of outside influences that are often useful in altering the business course even if only by a few degrees.

The method of reaching consumers has changed as well. Radio, television and print media are still used to reach out to consumers, but the options have opened significantly as consumers respond to online ads and other non-traditional media to make purchasing decisions.

Your online business can’t remain where it is today and thrive six months from now. You will need to pay attention to your customers, adjust content, revisit your offerings and welcome new merchandise to your stable of offerings. You will need to speak the common language of your customers and focus your advertising on the demographics that are most likely to buy your product.

Let’s say, for the sake of argument that your website is designed to appeal to those who are 25-35 years of age. If you have the same exact website and offer the same exact items five years from now you might lose 50% of your customer base. While you kept things on track and resisted change the top end of your demographic may have been silently slipping away while those moving into your target still felt as if the site were for people older then they were. Can you see how the bubble shrinks in this scenario? You didn’t grow with the older portion of your base, and you didn’t intentionally welcome others.

If you aren’t constantly working toward welcoming the youngest members of your demographic range you are missing the opportunity to reach them. By the time you realize your mistake you may have already forfeited the opportunity to serve them.

By remaining diligent in adjusting you can help your the cheapest car insurance remain relevant in a changing sales environment. This might mean freshening your logo, revamping your website and an altering product offerings. It requires that you pay attention to trends and solicit feedback from every age group in your demographic.

The method by which you share your message might change as time goes on, but if you refuse to consider opening your eyes to the possibilities of meaningful change you may be consigning your business to a slow and painful demise.

There aren’t many who like to see their home furnishings in the same place for the rest of their lives. Move your cyber furniture, add something new, replace things along the way and make your place in cyber space a welcoming environment for those who have been looking for what you offer.
